4 jobs is too many

just wanted to check in to apologize if I owe you an email… a phone call… money… all three. ;) I'm so sorry if i suck as a friend or a daughter or a sister or a coworker or a mom (sorry birdies!) right now. i just spent two weeks working 4 jobs and as I slowly emerge from the chaos, I can safely say - 4 jobs is 4 TOO MANY. For two weeks I was trying to work 1) my day job; 2) teach, train and create a new duo silk act from scratch at the circus center; 3) perform 'current nobody'; and 4) rehearse 'T.I.C.' *yawn* wow. i'm tired. i woke up today with a sore throat and no energy to speak of, so I think my body as told me in no uncertain terms that it is time to chill the fuck out. Sadly, that is out of the question. I may have closed 'current nobody', but rehearsals are gearing up full force for T.I.C (we open January 5th - that's sort of INSANE), day job has work for me to do and teaching and training fill in what little holes there are, since, well, I will be performing a new aerial silk routine with my new partner Jen this Saturday. We are twins separated at birth. It's kinda cool. Just imagine… not one… but TWO arwen's doing nifty silk routines next to one another - that's pretty much what you'll see on Saturday. It's a work-in-progress, but i think it will still be pretty awesome as long as Jen and I can both stay healthy!

Breathe.

okay - I just got an e-mail that a big audition that I had later today is being cancelled and my heart seriously just sang the hallelujah chorus. :)

sweet.

So yeah - come see me at the circus center this Saturday, December 20th. We go on around 2:30pm. It's totally free to get in. you may have to pay a small fee if you want to try the flying trapeze. Which you do.
